Corporate

Jan is an Associate in MBM’s Corporate team, where he advises entrepreneurs, investors and companies on a wide range of corporate matters. His practice covers mergers and acquisitions, investment rounds and general company law, and he has experience acting on both buy-side and sell-side processes.

Having trained at a law firm in Scotland, he began his career at a US law firm in London, where he worked on complex cross-border M&A transactions, representing private equity houses and corporate buyers on high-value, cross-border acquisitions. He later broadened his practice to include advising on commercial contracts, before returning to focus on transactional work. He has also spent time on secondment with a leading private equity investment firm, giving him direct insight into how investors structure and execute deals.

This combination of private practice and in-house experience has equipped Jan with a strong foundation in corporate transactions, as well as a practical understanding of how clients approach deals and manage risk. His approach is collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused, with an emphasis on helping clients achieve their strategic goals.
