Navigating the Future of Employment Law: Unpacking the Employment Rights Bill

Join us for a online seminar designed for employers, in which we will be outlining the progress that has been made on the Employment Rights Bill. We'll also discuss steps that employers can take to prepare for the new legislation. In the seminar we will cover the main provisions of the Bill, including:

  1. Day one unfair dismissal protection and the “light touch” dismissal procedure
  2. Reform of the law around zero hours contracts
  3. Strengthening of the law around collective redundancy
  4. Ending fire and rehire/replace practices
  5. Strengthening employee family friendly rights including in relation to paternity leave, bereavement leave and the protected period for pregnant employees and those on maternity leave
  6. Strengthening the law around the prevention of harassment (including sexual harassment), particularly in relation to third party harassment
  7. Improving employee access to statutory sick pay
  8. Questions

Please note, the seminar will not cover the aspects of the Bill relating specifically to school support staff, the social care sector, tipping and trade unions.
