Jacqueline joined MBM in 2023 as an Associate in the IPDC team. She is dual-qualified as a Scottish Solicitor and a German Lawyer.

Jacqueline advises businesses in legal matters related to intellectual property, commercial contracts, and data protection. With a focus on a user-friendly and accessible approach, she helps businesses navigate everyday challenges and complex legal matters in these areas.

Prior to joining MBM, Jacqueline qualified as a lawyer in Germany. In Germany, she trained at an international law firm and in the in-house legal department of a national daily newspaper. During her traineeship, she worked on intellectual property disputes and transactions, as well as competition law and media law disputes.

Jacqueline studied law at the University of Mainz (Germany) and received her LLM in Intellectual Property and the Digital Economy from the University of Glasgow. After being admitted to the German Bar, she re-qualified as a Scottish Solicitor.

Personal Biography

Originally from Germany, Jacqueline moved to Scotland with her Scottish husband. In her spare time, she enjoys going for long walks on the beach with her family, sailing, and exploring Scotland’s castles, gardens and islands and (occasionally) showing their wee son the vineyards of her German hometown.
