Jamie Nellany

Jamie leads the restructuring and insolvency offering at MBM. He is a dedicated R&I specialist with experience across a wide range of legal areas and business sectors. This breadth enables him to quickly understand the specific challenges a business is facing and to deliver practical, commercially grounded advice that best protects value and manages risk.

Jamie has worked within some of the leading teams in the Scottish and UK markets, advising on both Scottish and English law mandates. He brings experience of large scale restructurings and formal insolvency processes, through to advising SME businesses in urgent situations. Whether supporting directors in financial distress, advising lenders and investors, or working alongside insolvency practitioners, Jamie’s advice is straightforward and focused on outcomes.

Personal Biography

Outside of work, Jamie spends most of his time with his young family and is kept on his toes by his two boys. He likes a sporting challenge and is a keen cyclist. He used to play a lot of golf and still remembers how occasionally.
