Leona Wake

Leona joined MBM Commercial in 2009 as a Legal PA in our Corporate team and currently works as the firm’s People Manager, supporting our Managing Director, Gail Downes. Leona has been a key part of the firm's HR function for the past five years, supporting all aspects of people management including HR, payroll, recruitment, employee exits and our summer intern programmes. During this time, she balanced her role with studying for and successfully achieving her CIPD qualification, reflecting her dedication to developing a strong, supportive and well-managed workplace.

Leona has worked in legal offices since 1997.

Personal Biography

In her spare time, Leona enjoys spending time with her family and friends and walking her Labrador, Freddie. She also enjoys family travel to sunny places.
