Lucy Armstrong

Lucy qualified as a Scottish Solicitor in September 2026. Since joining the firm in 2024, Lucy has been gaining experience in a range of matters related to intellectual property, data protection and commercial contracts, with a particular focus on providing practical legal advice and drafting clear, user-friendly documents. Prior to joining the IPDC team, Lucy completed a seat in the corporate team where she was involved in a range of corporate transactions with a particular focus on investment work.

Lucy earned both her Scots LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde. Alongside her studies, Lucy worked as a Finance Litigation Paralegal at DWF in Glasgow.

Personal Biography

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling whenever she gets the opportunity and most importantly spending time with her dogs.
