Nicholas Oprescu-Havriliuc is an Associate in MBM’s Corporate team. He is involved in corporate transactions with a particular focus on capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, technology and scale-up. Nicholas works on deals of all types and sizes, supporting companies from incorporation, through various investment rounds and to an exit.

Nicholas brings a keen interest and knowledge in artificial intelligence, technology, and robotics to his work. His paper on “Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence: A Criticism of Their Implementation in the Modern Workplace as It Relates to Employment Law” ranked in the top ten across several eJournals on the Social Science Research Network. He also holds a certificate in Legal Technology, as well as in Data Ethics, AI and Responsible Innovation.

Nicholas graduated with First Class Honours in LLB Law and French from the University of Edinburgh. He was awarded the Joelle Godard Prize, which is presented annually to the student with the best overall performance graduating with this degree. Nicholas has also spent a year studying French law at Sciences Po in Paris.
