Rebekah joined the Corporate Team as a trainee in Edinburgh in 2023 and qualified into the team in 2025. Rebekah is involved in investment and M&A work, and enjoys working with companies along their fundraising journey.
Rebekah completed her Graduate LLB and the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh. Prior to her law degree, she also achieved an MA(Hons) in History at the university in 2020. Alongside her studies, Rebekah worked at Costa Coffee for 8 years and reached the management position of Barista Maestro.
In February 2023 Rebekah became part of the Law Society of Scotland's New Lawyers Reference Group with the aim of helping to improve the overall experience for the next generation of law students.
Personal Biography
In her spare time Rebekah enjoys collecting classic films from the 1920s to the 1980s and is currently on the hunt to match up her DVD collection with her growing vinyl collection. When she is not singing along to Bing Crosby, she enjoys spending time with her family and catching up with friends.
Legal Experience
- Acting for an Edinburgh-based aerospace technology firm, Aurora Avionics, in connection with a total investment of circa. £500,000 involving support from Kelvin Capital, Gabriel and Scottish Enterprise.
- Acting for the UK’s only female-founded wave energy company, Zoex Ltd, in connection with a total investment of circa. £500,000 involving support from Equity Gap, Scottish Enterprise and the University of Strathclyde.
- Acting for the Scottish National Investment Bank in connection with the £6 million investment into Scottish biopharmaceutical firm Enterobiotix.
- Acting for various client companies in connection with their crowd funding investments.
- Acting for a number of angel syndicates in relation to various investment deals.
