Qikserve
Qikserve is a technology company that offers consumers an easy way to order their food in hospitality venues – be that in person or for online delivery. Like many great ideas, Qikserve was born out of frustration when Founder, Daniel Rodgers, was in a busy restaurant with his young children. While debating whether or not to abandon his children in order to place an order at the bar, Dan realized that there must be a technology solution to his problem – and so Qikserve was born.

Established in 2011, Qikserve created a digital platform for the hospitality sector that allowed consumers to order seamlessly. The firm grew quickly, attracting investors early on. In 2019, QIkserve acquired Preoday bringing together two powerhouse platforms and allowing the firm to expand its services across the hospitality industry in more locations worldwide.
In 2020, the pandemic hit sending the hospitality sector into crisis. Qikserve’s solution provided a lifeline to the industry and the company grew – by 2024 their platform was in over 37 countries and had processed over $500m in total orders.
The firm’s success also drew the attention of potential acquirers, and in September 2024 the firm was bought by the Access Group – a global providers of business management software.
MBM Commercial has supported the Qikserve team from their inception, providing them strategic legal advice on raising investment, acquiring Preoday and on their acquisition in 2024. In addition, MBM Commercial has provided advice on contracts and IP, employment law and commercial leases.
As the company moves into the next phase of their journey, MBM Commercial looks forward to continuing to support their needs wherever we can.
