MBM Commercial expands US Team

Award-winning law firm MBM Commercial (“MBM”) today announced the appointment of Michelle Bush and Laura Donald, two senior US qualified attorneys to the firm’s Edinburgh office, adding further weight to the largest and most experienced US commercial law team in the Scottish legal landscape.

Michelle recently relocated to Scotland from Maine where she spent the last 14 years practicing as an employment attorney, most recently in-house with a large health care organisation. Michelle will bring her extensive expertise in US employment law, risk mitigation, and effective workforce management as well as providing advice on UK employment matters.

Laura started her career in Silicon Valley advising on venture capital financings and M&A transactions and has spent over two decades in corporate law. Subsequently she spent 16 years in the Corporate Law division of NYSE listed Albertsons, rising to Group Vice President, has worked on financings, M&A transactions, commercial agreements and corporate governance. She recently relocated to Scotland from Idaho.
